THE ROYAL VISIT

What an honor!

Leighton Buzzard played host to a very special visitor yesterday when Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal, toured the offices of the town’s Citizens Advice service in Bossard House.

Her Royal Highness was welcomed to Leighton Buzzard by HM Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire, Helen Nellis, and her Lord-Lieutenant Cadets, Corporal Alissa Morgan from St John Ambulance and Cadet Sergeant Élodie Pierlot from Flitwick and Ampthill Sea Cadets.

As part of the visit, the Princess Royal was to be presented with a small posy of flowers in the corporate colours of the Citizens Advice. We were lucky enough to be asked to provide the posy and some table decoration for the room HRH would be shown around.

We were asked by Advice Services Manager, Karen Banfield, a loyal customer at Adrienne's Flowers. Our talented team put together a beautiful mix of yellows, blues and whites arranged in a handtied posy and matching flowers in a vase for the signing in table. It was such a privilege to be selected out of all the local florists and were pleased to see our flowers in publications across the county.

Karen said: “On behalf of everyone at Citizens Advice, I’d like to say a huge thank you to Adrienne for her generosity in kindly donating the flowers and her time for the royal visit. We really appreciate her support and the posy and arrangement were absolutely beautiful.”
