A Little Bit About Adrienne's Flowers

Adrienne, our proprietor and senior florist, opened the business in 2010 from a tiny office in Heath and Reach. Starting out as a gift shop, selling silk flowers, several passers by and friends asked if she could do something bespoke, with fresh flowers, for weddings and funerals in the village. This started a passion for Adrienne and after some one to one training, she became the fully fledged florist you see in our shop today! Nearly 10 years have gone by since starting up and it really shows in our work and how the business has grown.

This is our third premises and we are still growing. We now have three members of staff including Adrienne, but its still all hands on deck when it comes to the busy periods!

Meet the rest of the team below:

Sam, Adrienne’s Daughter is also a valuable member of the team. Sam Joined us in 2013 just as we moved into our second premises in Friday Street. Sam was taught in house by Adrienne herself and really took to floristry.

It also worked well being part of the family business when she had her first baby boy in August 2015.

Sam is always available with a warm welcome and a friendly smile to help with any of your floristry needs.

Sam has just returned from having baby number two and we are really glad to have her back in the shop!

Sophie, Adrienne's Daughter and Sam's twin has recently joined our growing team in 2021, after having her first baby boy during the pandemic. Sophie has often helped us out at busy periods such as Mothers Day and Valentines Day as our delivery driver, but keen to join the family business, she has now become our latest trainee shop assistant.

Sophie's favourite colour is yellow, so if your florist choice bouquet turns up beautifully bright, you know who's made it!

Milo is our supervising black Labrador who joined the team in 2016.

You will often find him sat in his bed watching our flower choices and techniques.

Sometimes he thinks he is also a guard dog, but most likely he's just having a good old nap
